Poetry, Reckoning

Love

Grows in the darkness

Not from kisses

But from the pain of man

The night

Is the refuge of all things incomplete

Except the heart of the lover

Who knows neither silence

Nor death

In this darkness

Two gazes

Two blind spots

Read their fate

And suddenly burn

One day

The sun

Beat in their chest

Oh love

Oh light that flees from staring

I tremble from you

But without you

I do not even know the darkness

You are the final truth

That the night

Dares not speak…
