Michael DeLaPlante

Floating

living life like a bubble floating in a bottle of hand sanitizer things occur to me in a series

of unconnected

events

rather than a strung together

plot

i live intangibly

not able to be felt

or touched

rather a concept

in an abstract dreamscape

floating endlessly in a world

that I do not know.

Michael DeLaPlante (he/they) is a 16-year-old poet, essayist, and activist, from Upstate New York. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Writers For A Cause Literary Magazine: a magazine focused on advocating for social justice via creative writing.
