The Breath That Answers the Tongue, Poetry
ancient blood coursing through modern veins // the story of life unfurls through a progeny of
tongues // spiraling, spiraling, spiraling toward oblivion’s edge // yet tales (hope’s guardian)
forestalls the fated // consummation conceived through genesis, employed its primal scheme //
yet tales (despair’s quarantine) forestalls the fated // modern blood ebbing through ancient veins
// the story of life requiting through an inspiration of lungs // rising, rising, rising toward
sentience’s perpetuity
Between, Poetry
Inhale - - -
imbibing ancestral dreams
…Exhale
quickening limitless futures
–alchemical pause–
Evanescence
manifests the primordial spark
